Designed to be the most rapid of cross country steeds, the Santa Cruz Blur Carbon CC Mountain Bike Frame is the choice when speed is of the essence. Svelte and nimble for hot laps but more than tough enough for all-day events, the Blur is committed, agile and ruthless. The Blur is Santa Cruz’s lightest ever 100mm travel, full suspension frame but it also retains all of the stiffness and efficiency required for power transmission and delivery. This is achieved thanks to a complex carbon formation that manipulates material layup according to the specific requirements of different frame zones. The one-piece rear triangle then partners the mainframe with them being conjoined via a VPP suspension design and FOX Float dampener. This configuration works in perfect harmony to deliver a progressive and composed shock rate as well as lateral stiffness for an accurate and ultimately reactive ride experience. The frame’s responsiveness is joined by 29-inch wheel compatibility to ensure that all forward propulsion is maximised before confidence-inspiring geometry then helps the rider find overtaking lines that were previously thought to be unattainable.
